The expected results from NETKITE project are:

telefono_casa min   more widespread entrepreneurial culture among young graduates and researchers;
telefono_casa min   support to innovation policies within the network and capitalization of methodology  and tools towards other networks at the Mediterranean basin level;
telefono_casa min   reinforced collaboration between education and production systems to boost technology transfer;
telefono_casa min   improved access to research infrastructures and facilities for joint university-enterprise R&D projects, through “light” workshops for testing innovation processes, open to several groups of users;
telefono_casa min   methodologies and tools, experimented on a transnational scale, to convey innovative ideas into knowlededge-intensive companies;
telefono_casa min   pilot demonstration of the spin-off potential of the acedemies and R&D centres of the ENPI region;
telefono_casa min   improved interconnections between the territories concerned through the identification of a shared team of facilitators able to convey innovation transfer programmes supporting territorial development;
telefono_casa min   coaching & training programmes to develop SMEs management skills within research teams.

In general terms, within a global framework in which the speed of the connection between knowledge and the market is decisive to sustain innovation, the project intends to give a contribution to how to implement and efficient and effective use of knowledge for the creation of economic value.

This will improve the innovation capacity building, both technical and managerial, of local communities, because through aggregation models, productive districts, technology clusters, business networks, the supply chains will be supported, new business investments will be encouraged and the whole territorial system will become more stable, dynamic and mature, thus generating qualified jobs and slowing the brain drain process.
