On Friday 18 December, final conference of Netkite project

On Friday 18 of December, at Ecomuseo Mare Memoria Viva (Via Messina Marine 20, Palermo) will be held “Med Talk 01”, the closing multidisciplinary conference of NETKITE project. The event will be an opportunity to talk about innovation, entrepreneurial ecosystems and local development processes along with entrepreneurs from different countries of the ENPI area, economists, sociologists, researchers and musicians.

The agenda of the day includes an opening session dedicated to the presentation of the Netkite project and European Union policies in the Mediterranean area, with interventions of the mayor of Palermo, Leoluca Orlando, the chancellor of Unipa, Fabrizio Micari, Renato Botti, ENPI CBC MED Joint Technical Secretariat, Umberto La Commare and Fabio Maria Montagnino, respectively president and director of the Consorzio Arca.

Will follow the pitches of the business ideas of the 12 young entrepreneurs (from Egypt, Jordan, Palestine and Tunisia) finalists of the Netkite Call, the business idea competition launched as part of the project. The presentation will be introduced by Giovanna Marano, Councillor for Productive Activities of the City of Palermo.

After the pitch of the 12 finalists, will open a round table moderated by journalist Emil Abirascid, that will accompany the participants until the time of the business ideas award.

A mediterranean dinner and a concert of a local artist, Mario Crispi, will close the event.
